Hi, I'm Cheryl Hudson!

During my 27 year career as a Missouri State Highway Patrol Driver Examiner, I honed my skills in evaluating driving proficiency and recognizing the critical elements of safe driving.

Inspired to Make a Difference

Once retired, I began receiving requests for driving instructions. As a testament to the effectiveness of my teaching methods, my reputation has spread word-of-mouth and I continue getting calls. To meet insurance requirements, I’ve had to decide whether to file as a business or quit altogether. Consequently, I have officially ‘gone back to work’, as Drive Wise, LLC, doing what is very rewarding for me.

My Students' Success: Beyond the Test

While passing your driving test is certainly a milestone, it’s not my primary focus. I believe in going the extra mile to equip you with a solid foundation to become a “wise” driver. Building a Strong Foundation

My ultimate goal is to build confident and competent drivers. Each progressing lesson builds your understanding of all components necessary to create a safe environment for yourself and others who share the road (i.e. pedestrians, cyclists, and other motorists). Later, as a licensed driver, your driving expertise will grow from this solid foundation of knowledge.
